CE454 1.0 hr Late Preterm Infants Need Special Care

Course Objectives: The goal of this program is to provide nurses with information about the incidence, etiology, identification, and care of the late preterm infant. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:
- Define "late preterm infant" and explain why this designation is a better description than "near-term infant".

- Identify four nursing interventions in the care and discharge planning for this group of infants.
