Course Objectives: The goal of this program is to inform nurses about the role of chromoendoscopy in the diagnosis of diseases of the GI tract through the identification of abnormal mucosal areas. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:

  • List the stains used in chromoendoscopy and the effects of each.
